Is the official position of today's Rat party a return to busing?

If you opposed busing back in the 1970s, as a majority of Rat party members did, you're now a racist or at least not sufficiently racially sensitive according to the new/old standards.
Even liberal enclaves like Berkeley ended their busing programs years ago. Does Willie Brown's concubine have a policy to reimpose forced busing back on the country?
This election is going to be fun.

I think busing was probably necessary in the 70s and 80s. In 2019? No

Mandatory busing simply drove the affluent out of once respectable public school districts. Many have yet to recover. I’m sure for some the opposition was due to racism, but for most of us, the issue was traveling to and from a school on a bus when we lived within walking distance of a school in our own backyard.Fire_Marshall_Bill said:I think busing was probably necessary in the 70s and 80s. Absolutely. Mandatory busing was unpopular North and South of Seattle’s Ship Canal. And private schools really got a boost.RaceBannon said:

But a revisionism that a significant segment of your party seems to be embracing. If Biden is a racist for opposing busing why aren't you a racist for your opposition to busing?HHusky said:So far just nostalgic revisionism.

I don't recall saying or thinking that Joe Biden is a racist.SFGbob said:

Your party is filled with dumb fucks. My party is filled with dumb fucks. I've been perfectly willing to serve as a benevolent dictator, but people keep thinking we should give this representative democracy thing more time.
