I had the privilege to partake in Männertag last year in Berlin. Young single men apparently felt it was cheaper and easier to remake Father’s Day into Men’s Day than to actually parent a child ;-). After many rounds of pils and döner kebab in the park, I can’t say they’re wrong. One of the more fascinating elements of the holiday is the tricked out beer carts that some men made to ensure the beer never stops flowing. Take something akin to a yard debris bin, insulate it, fill with literal racks of cold beer, and add built in speakers to blast music on the S Bahn or in the park. It makes nonstop rocking possible!
