I did not believe that he personally favored either the Democrats or the Republicans, or had a point of view on whether President Trump should be impeached. But I have now changed my mind. By putting his thumb, indeed his elbow, on the scale of justice in favor of impeachment based on obstruction of justice, Mueller has revealed his partisan bias. “No prosecutor should ever say or do anything for the purpose of helping one party or the other. I cannot imagine a plausible reason why Mueller went beyond his report and gratuitously suggested that President Trump might be guilty, except to help Democrats in Congress and to encourage impeachment talk and action. IMO what is being lost in the reprehensible behavior committed today is what is the realistic end result of all this nefarious bull crap?
Mueller has been outed as the biased creep he has always been since he let innocent men rot in jail.
However IMO he has set a trap that will lead to the inevitability of impeachment and possible existential event for the Democrats.
It seems as Pelosi will yield to the tide of those clamoring for impeachment. If they impeach Trump it will take the votes of the new members elected in close races in Red Trump districts. If they vote to impeach they will be dead men and women walking. They think nefarious creep Mueller gave them cover. This I believe is a miscalculation.
There will be a huge backlash probably much stronger than the one for Clinton.
One needs to be careful for what one wishes for.
