Sources tell me Washington offered to double Jim Mora’s current salary if he accepts position to coach the Huskies.

If that is true that is absolutely a legit offer and probably would put him in the Top 5 range in the country or close to it, depending on which current salary figure that is out there is most accurate.

Like I said before the money is a statement. When you put out that much money for a coach you are announcing we are ready to play big boy football again.

Just like when Hedges stole Rick from Colorado. At the time Colorado was a good program as well.

very true, and if woodward's smart the purse he has for assistants is part of the offer, thats how we distance from UCLA show him we care about overall program health.

It sure sounds like he is currently in the 2.5-2.8 range, so i don't think that is a terrible offer. First offers are always negotiated, so if this is true i have to believe we are prepared to get up to your figure if not higher.

This, plus all of the other nuts and bolts of building a big-time program (support staff, trainers, etc).

Mora is going to say no 2 or 3 times...its Pool Boy's job to keep coming back and saying 'its your dream job, I will give you what you need to make it your dream job, what else should we be talking about.'
