We went to a Varsity Alumni game in the mid 60s and my cheap dad took us to the almost new Space Needle for lunch before. He spent most of it in the restroom throwing up

I got to spend the next summer in a courtroom watching him sue the doctor. The doctor lined up his buddies to lie for him and won.
The doctor who saved his life had married Jack Swarthout's ex wife. Years later I was at his house because his daughter was a friend of my girlfriend. He told me all these lawyer jokes that doctors tell. But he had told the truth on the stand.
