I wonder. If it was 20 years, I’d expect a pardon. It still may happen, but there’s less motivation to use political capital on it unless the other sentencing is pretty harsh.

Controversial pardons usually happen on the way out the door and Manafort will be out by 2024

He won't be out by 2024, still getting sentenced in DC for other convictions as I understand it. Could be 14 years or thereabouts
