Hopkins a shoo-in to replace Jim Boeheim after season

    I could see Boeheim deciding to retire after this simply because of the emotional impact it may have, but I don't see Hop heading back at this point (yet, I suppose). I think Hop has such a great thing building that he wouldn't want to walk away now even if he still loved the Cuse.

    If the Dawgs close out the PAC and make a decent showing in the tourney Jen needs to bump Hop to ~$2.5M per, placing him in the upper end of PAC-12 coaches.

    With no state income tax, UW has an advantage over Syracuse’s 7.64% NY state tax ($190k) who would have to show Hop $2.7M per—$550,000 more than Boehim’s 2018 Salary— to match.
