Sean Constantine out of Bellevue was a 4* on some services and the 9th highest rated player by composite in Sark's famed 2013 recruiting class.
Fowler is the same size and way more athletic. And CP got him as a walk on. -

If this was 1988 say, Smalls would be all over the Times and PI as a big time star and recruit. The attention he gets on line on various platforms would have been concentrated in the two newspapers (google it)
Recruiting has always been covered its just easier and more saturated now. And given more importance I think. When James sucked in the 80's we knew it was talent and coaching but fans just wanted to fire the coach -
