I'm really starting to fear we may not make the tourney if we go 15-3 in conference.

It sounds like Dickerson will play Thursday so I'm pretty confident we'll at least split. Losing one game means they won't be ranked though. TSIO for everyone else if they sweep.

Not being ranked going into this week is good for the team imo, they will play with a chip on their shoulder. That being said, they probably dont win again until 2022 or so.

This is why I have the bracketology thread. We're solid as of now, but if we? get swept by the Zona schools we're? right on the bubble (probably a 10ish+ seed) and have a weak schedule to finish the season. If we? split I think we'll? drop slightly to a high 8 seed. My hope is at least splitting and only one other conference loss to go 16-2. Make the semis and that will be more than enough. Any less and we're probably on the bubble.

No bad losses, but no wins against a top 60 RPI team. These games against the Arizona schools are huge. ASU is the conferences best bet for a second team. Arizona isn't very good, but they have a decent RPI to pad the resume.

The good news is the bubble will be soft this year unless there are a lot of upsets in the conference tournaments.

Hopkins will have good motivators to offer this week, but it’s harder to win on the road. I think the huskies are bound for the NCAA tourney and think they’re getting better weekly. My guess is that they sweep the Arizona schools but lose a WTF game somewhere along the way. This year’s group of huskies are focused...lots of clutch play so far...
