You've written quite a bit in the process of aidsifying this thread to make the point that elite players want to play.Jnewblud said:
You wrote all that to make the "point" that McMillan and Odunze "are good".RoadDawg55 said:Too much obsession with big WR’s. Most bit WR’s aren’t quick and are awkward. Guys who are 6’3” or taller that are great athletes are typically playing hoops. The ones who suck at basketball play football. For every Dwayne Jarret, there are 5 Braden Dickey’s.
Get open and catch the ball. Those players come in a variety of sizes. Obviously it’s better when they are big, but it’s rare.
Cool.👍

No captain obvious! All players want to play, not just the "elite players". "Elite players" like McMillan and Odunze have several dozens of options and alternatives when coaching staffs force redshirting or benching, that's the point. They literally don't have to wait around if they don't want to.chuck said:

Even now top 10 college programs are trying court these players away while Huskie followers are talking redshirting, that redshirt talk might just be all the encouragement they need to decommit. -
Yeah fucktard fans projecting who redshirts from their mom's basement is bound to affect their thinking. That you're point then?Jnewblud said:

Posting about wanting to bang a kid's mom, dad, sister or dog might bother recruits who read the board. Posting about having a boner for a recruit might bother them. Posting that they suck or that recruit B is a way better option might bother them.Jnewblud said:It
It could, possibly. Observed several elite kids interacting with and responding to "fans" on social media.chuck said:

Speculating about who might redshirt, when the kids havent even signed yet let alone showed up to practice at UW, is not going to bother them. I'm comfortable stating that as a fact. -

Where would you rather redshirt at as an out of state baller, Alabama or UW?
I would pick UW over Alabama only if UW coaches promised P.T. year one.

I am "comfortable stating" that I did not previously mention the word "bother". If enough fans yammer about it, it could definitely rekindle a recruit's thoughts about his options especially if the recruit was promised that he would not be redshirted to lure him away from programs like Alabama, Oklahoma, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Georgia etc.chuck said:

If I am an out of state recruit and redshirting is the thing, rather go ahead redshirt at Alabama than UW.

Chuck:
Yep, I know it's armchair speculation captain obvious.
There's a long speculative HH thread on whether Ethan Garbers will decommit before "signing" or a single "practice" because of Sam Haurd. Maybe Garbers likes that it's in the ether, maybe it gets him re-evaluating...can only "speculate" unless I interview him.
I am "speculating" and cautioning that if UW attempts to redshirt McMillan or Odunze next year as part of the regular UW routine then that transfer portal has a good chance of heating up.
Just speculating though. -
Well you're the only person talking about it so if you shut the fuck up we should be fineJnewblud said:
