Sucks to lose instate kids but Simon is overrated. The comparisons to Myles Jack are ridiculous.

Have we ever had a spring these last six years where recruiting wasn't a complete shit show in dire straights?

We just need PGOS to guarantee this will be the greatest class evar!

Simon is overated but a must take, especially this year. I'd give him a 89-90 grade as a player with 99 makeup
I would argue against the 99 makeup, too. He's not that kind of athlete and looking at him, I would bet he doesn't get much more athletic. Looks like the typical kid that developed early.

    From the auSC 247 mod
"Following Brandon Huffman's pick last night of Tacoma (Wash.) Lincoln four-star athlete Julien Simon to USC, I am also told through separate sources that USC is in a very good position to land Simon. I don't think Simon's commitment is imminent, but there is definitely buzz behind him heading to USC from both sides of his recruitment right now. USC has had very little traction recruiting FSP players like SImon in the past. The Trojans reached a few years ago and signed cornerback Trey Davis, which proved a bad move as Davis ransferred out of USC weeks after enrolling. Simon would be a much bigger target to land, obviously. He is projected as a linebacker for USC."
