Tell you one thing. If Maduro fucks this up and loses his country to Trump he's gonna have a tuff time getting laid in his asylum land if he doesn't drop about 70 lbs.

Shocking. They had 49 other states to move to. Why? Because our country isn't based on one resource. You actually helped that argument.

Venezuela had a diverse economy UNTIL the socialists took over and nationalized the oil industry. They had already done this long before Chavez.

Intervene, wreck the economy, blame the "free market", and justify further intervention. Rinse and repeat.

What's interesting is to look and the decline in oil production in Venezuela after they nationalized the oil industry. Yes the drop in the price of oil hurt their economy but it was the irresponsible government spending and the mismanagement of their oil industry that's killed them.

A bunch of socialists that have no clue how to run an oil company aren't going to be very efficient or successful since the outcome doesn't matter. You don't have to work to get paid. No job performance bonuses. No promotions. No incentive.

Of course lazy mostly worthless assholes want socialism for those very reasons.
