Some time in the middle of the year I thought about Tui and Pat Conniff going to Neu with the triple option and running through the PAC with it. Then I thought about Eason running all these different teams' offenses for the scout team, and by all accounts carving up the #1 defense.
My doog brain hopes that Skinny has a similar conversation with Bush and Pete, takes some concepts they ran on scout team from the various opponents we've played, and make them their own. Fuck the cute and complicated, run what works.
Maybe there's an added bonus of Spiker and Osborne catching passes from Eason all year that gets them on the field before their junior years.
But... probably not. I'm expecting a heavy dose of everybody talking about the difference between Bush 2018 and Bush 2019 until it's time to play and it all still makes no sense.
