there are a couple levels to this for me.
1) I was in the LIPO camp until he literally tweeted his scripted message 18 hours after the game. It tells me he didn't have his brothers' backs.
2) This is the Rose Bowl...the fucking Rose Bowl and now the Rose Bowl that he dreamed of playing in isn't good enough...this is a big red flag to college football and it really does have me wondering why I should be invested in it all year long if this is the result of what we think we're investing our time and money in...we expected the team to take the Rose Bowl as seriously as we did and yet it apparently doesn't matter. This is a reckoning for me on a personal level that I will digest for a while and see what it ultimately means to me.
3) I am a person who needs to vent and Rapp's decision felt like an insult to me...I'll get over it and maybe even cheer for him in the pros, but damn...that was an unexpected insult from a guy who I honestly thought was going to take the Rose Bowl more seriously than anyone. I thought he had DNA for moments like yesterday. Ouch. -

Rapp can DIAFF for not playing, it had a major effect on the secondary play, at least 2 TDs were a direct result of shitty safety play, everyone can see that...
Gaskin didnt sit, even Murphy didn't sit, Ohio State players didnt sit, It wasnt the cheez-it bowl... it was the Rose Bowl against Ohio State.
If everyone wants to act like a disconnected robot making business decisions, fine, Fuck Rapp, his move is bad for the business of College football and Washington football, He could have positively affected the product on the field, I dont give a fuck about the NFL, Rapp is dead to me.
