How I take solace with Jake Browning

Despite the coaches and players likely telling each other not to read the internet for media or fan opinions, you know Browning does. His smart-ass and smug responses are too specific enough and "trolling" to suggest he isn't aware what's being said about him on the internet. I'm happy that he'll read opinions from this game where people feel it's confirmed what an overhyped, hollow and transparent legacy he'll leave here. I'm glad he'll read the boreds, knowing that people will hate him for never performing in the clutch, never performing in a signature game and whining all the time.
I'm glad he knows what his legacy actually is and knows that he'll have to lie to himself and convince himself he was any good while at UW. The only solace I take in the game is knowing that he never proved any of us wrong on what a piece of shit he is in every way possible, from leader to athlete.

He's the kind of guy where the first thing he'll do when he gets back is start reading message boards, Twitter, Instagram, FB groups, etc, just to see what people say about him. He'll get the doog responses, but they'll be meaningless. He knows who he is.
