PM to Taylor Rapp

I love Taylor Rapp. I have loved Taylor Rapp. He is my favorite defensive player.
I will remember him fondly in the future years as a badass who was the heart of the defense for 3 years. He was the antithesis of Jake Browning. He made plays, he won games, he elevated his teammates.
That said, all 3 fucking first half touchdowns were on blown assignments by Brandon McKinney, and I have to believe those would have been read correctly by Rapp, and he would have stopped at least 1 if not 2 of them regardless of him being slowed up by his injury.
And that shit pisses me the fuck off. It’ll take a bit to forgive him. -
I quit on Rapp the moment he Quit on me, his coaches, teammates, school and fans.
Go taME!
The closeup of the strip of tape on his calf as the reason he can’t go, commented on by the announcers was precious. -

This is a trend that I find disturbing. It's rational and I understand it and I don't have a ready argument to offer. But, it threatens to ruin the bowls if it becomes a "thing", which it arguably already is.WeakarmCobra said:

He had the opportunity to increase his draft stock greatly against a likely top first rounder and Heisman runner-up, while on a national stage, and bailed. Whether it be injury or not, he looked ready to play and then didn't even try. His brothers put it on the field, he didn't. Whatever his reason, so be it. The regret will now be there for a lifetime and he will forever ask himself 'what if' I went for it and played. I know we would have likely been it it a lot more than their hitting his spot 3 times for TDs. Thanks for the times, Rapp, but your stock dropped in my book... Injured or not. #DontEvenSuitUp #RoseBowlsNotTheBelkBowl

Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, Taylor Rapp is dead to us.
Way to bail on your team and directly cost us 3 TDs leading to a loss.
