If Saama Paama is really 16 going on 17, why wouldn't he grey shirt to get a free year of development before beginning his eligibility clock?

Seems crazy someone as huge and athletic as he is is underage.

I'm not saying he's physically unready, just that it could be like putting an NFL lineman on the field an extra year.

Only thing I can think of is he wants to get the ball rolling and would sign elsewhere if we tried.

Have you seen him play? He probably won’t last 4 years here if he works hard on his craft.
