They don't dominate. Obviously it's easier for skill guys to contribute early.
Lots of guys got injured because they played early.
Guys who don't redshirt get injured a lot more than guys who do, especially close to the LOS.
This is why it's so great that we are RSing our dudes.
But - the key point here is that it's rare for these guys to come in and do a ton. Most players only contribute in their second years. I think a typical 5-star career looks like Trey. First year? Ok. Second year, starting to dominate.
This year - guys like Tryon and Kirkland look pretty fucking good for this trajectory. Even Ngata, frankly.
