PAC 12 CHAMPS FOR THE SECOND TIME IN THREE YEARS

WE LOST TO FUCKING CAL AND OREGON

SEASON ENDED AT ATLANTA

ONE GAME SEASON NOW

ROSE FUCKING BOWL

When the snow started to fall in the third quarter inside the Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta as our DAWGS faced off against Auburn the season quickly came to an end. College football insiders spent the summer pegging this game as the key to the Husky season and pointed out that Jake Browning would still be the quarterback so the season was over already.

There is an old saying about Auburn, pick them to go 5-7 and they go 11-1. Pick them to go 11-1 and they go 7-5. Sadly, one of the 7 was a come from behind win over Washington in white out conditions. The Huskies stumbled and bumbled their way in the red zone thus setting the tone for the entire season. The stout D gave up the game winning drive at just the wrong time. Crooked Larry Scott refs missed a slam to the chin of Browning that would have kept a drive alive with the Huskies in the lead. There is a conspiracy to keep UW out of the playoffs and Browning away from the New York Heisman dinner.

Coach Petersen responded to our request for an interview with this video greeting:

We didn't know it at the time but the most important games of the season came early not late. No one will ever forget the last night of Britain Covey on this earth, the biggest highlight of the season and another excuse to post these great gifs.

The win over Utah and the following week over ASU were the key to UW winning the North despite these being a couple of tough South teams. Both games followed the script of the Huskies flailing on offense and winning on defense.

At this point the playoffs were long gone and the hope was to win the Pac 12 and go 11-1. Those hopes were soon shattered in Eugene by a shitty kicker and worse game management by Petersen. No film exists of this game.

Then we lost to Cal but a win over Stanford kept the Huskies in charge of their own destiny as Oregon continued to struggle with their SEC schedule. They got curb stomped by the Utah back ups and WSU.

It all came down to the Apple Cup for the Pac 12 North and the right to play in the CCG for a trip to the Rose Bowl. Underneath a bright and sunny sky the two sqwads met to decide El Norte once and for all at least for this year. Spoiler alert, UW won for the 6th straight time as the refs and God himself conspired to keep the Cuogs down man.

Four year starter Jake Browning got the Huskies off to a fast start

Minshew answered back quickly

The game would turn on the shoulders of one man, the all time legend himself

And the Cuogs would Cuog it again

The Huskies would go on to win a shoot out with Utah to claim their second Pac 12 Championship in three years with a 10-3 record which is the most this team could have hoped for when it was all said and done. Congratulations and we'll see you at the Grandaddy of them All
