Worst play of CP era?

The double reverse to Ahmed on 4th and 1 against Cal

Benching Browning v Cal.

Probably the play where he decided there was no need to recruit over Browning 4 years ago.

Haener's first play at Cal. Hamdan had Haener come in cold and throw an out to the far sideline from the opposite hash...the ball bounced getting there. It's a long throw to make for Haener and it was an example of the coaches not putting players in a position to succeed. Just let him hand off or make an easy throw to the tide-end. Immediately after that Haener throws the INT, giving Cal all the points it needed to win without making an offensive or special teams touchdown. Second worst in my mind was watching the speed option against Auburn...Yikes

Joe Ayoob did that for against Oregon in2005. Never thought I'd see it again.TTJ said:Browning’s Q1 sideline “throwaway” INT at Cal ‘18. Totally inexcusable play for a 4-yr starter.

Goalline speed-option versus an NFL line with a slow strategy, cerebral white QB.
No contest.
