His rating is literally off the charts!GaryFromTeenMom said:A little birdy has said to keep an eye on this guy...offer and commit likely tomorrow should take some of the sting out.

We've had great defenses because of the front and the back end. The only thing BBK developed here was his body. He was all over the field from day 1. What he has isn't taught. The rest of the backers have sucked.
We aren't in the top 10 right now because Cal develops its LBs. I wonder what we would look like with 89 out there with us. I also wonder if he would look as good for us as he does with them.
Either we are bad at evaluating or developing. Or both. Coach K is proven with the X's and O's. But he hasn't shown shit with Jimmy's and Joe's.

Biggins:
“I think you can read this two ways. 1) there is a silent commitment although I have no idea who that could be, or 2) UW evaluated Banks' senior tape and didn't feel he was good enough to continue to pursue. That happens all the time and the polite way to exit out of the recruitment is to say, 'sorry man, love you but we filled that spot,' rather then, 'yeh we don't think you're good enough to play here.”
“I have gut feel Smalls could end up at UW and I know Huffman, who knows him better then anyone, feels same but they play two different positions, Smalls is more hybrid DE/OLB, Banks is ILB so I don't think you need to drop Banks for Smalls, especially when Smalls isn't a sure thing right now.“
“I like Banks but I was on here a few weeks ago arguing with some about why he wasn't rated higher. He's a solid prospect but he's not Ray Lewis. He's a decent to good athlete, a little undersized, good moving forward but not great laterally and just ok in pass coverage. I think the board consensus was a little different then what we and some other colleges all thought. Again, I like him, but he's not a sure thing no-brainer.”
“Oklahoma and Ohio State have pulled back a bit as well. Right now, I'm very curious to see where his recruitment goes from here. Maybe those schools backed off because they felt he was a strong lean elsewhere or maybe they backed off because they had other guys higher on their board, we'll see.”
“Banks was disappointed, UW was probably his leader.”
“Not that much to read in to, every staff has their recruiting boards and who they like best, the coaches watched senior film and felt like others fit the defense better.”
“I have not heard anything about Henry wanting to transfer out at this time“
“Let me just clarify, I like Banks, he would be a take for me but I also could see why schools would have other players rated higher on their board as well. Passing on Banks is not the same thing as if they decided to pass on Trent McDuffie for example.” -
I haven’t watched enough of Banks and don’t typically make rash judgements one way or the other off a highlight video, but I would trust Biggins. He has a hard time saying anyone isn’t that good.
And holy shit, @LaMichael_Corleone, get a grip. Pete wants fans to be active as in attend games and events, buy apparel, give money to the program. Not acting loony on Twitter. -

HILARIOUS. -
I’m also in LIPO mode.
I really liked Banks, and I wanted him because he’s a good player. What is being glossed over is that he was dropped because another player committed. Likely a player higher on their boards.
I’m disappointed. It stresses me out. But I’m not in meltdown mode yet. I’ll wait until I see who committed in his place, and what Bank’ senior tape looks like (if the rumors of him being disappointing and schools backing off are correct).
I do think it’s ridiculous how many WR are taken, so Bryant staying for a visit but Banks being cut off is frustrating. But Bryant is a stud and a killer slot WR to go with the current commits.
It also might signal that the coaches really are worried about the young WR on the roster and want to bring in as much talent as possible until someone rises. Plays into the thought that it is the reason young WR aren’t getting on the field. -
What other schools recently backed off Banks?

Listed them in my Biggins poasts above. Oklahoma and Ohio State.

Early hype by the big boys before they back off isn’t good. If we want to level up, getting their rejects isn’t the way.DoogCourics said:Listed them in my Biggins poasts above. Oklahoma and Ohio State.
He’s better than McDonald as a recruit, fine. -
So ... any chance Jordan botelho ...
