    My health care provider has these things called “urgent care” offices. They are open 24 hours all over Pasadena. Medical emergency? You show up with proof of insurance, get attended to and go home. You pay more out of pocket but you don’t go to the hospital emergency room. Even at 7 pm on a Saturday! Stop beating your kid’s head into a bloody pulp is also a good idea.
