Redman has had a very good year and shown flashes on both sides of the ball. His future is at tight end and he’s a big, strong, physical kid who can block, catch and make plays down the field.
He has also been used as a designated pass rusher in third down or obvious passing down situations and is very good off the edge. In fact, if Redman played just on the defensive side of the ball, he would be a national recruit there as well.
CDM has one of the nation’s most prolific passing offenses and Redman is a big part of that. He has 61 catches for 856 yards and 13 touchdowns while averaging 14 yards per catch. He’s often double teamed but still able to separate and make plays.
As mentioned, he's not just a pass catcher, he's a strong inline blocker and the kind of tight end you can play in all situations. His upside is very high and I love the way his game has developed over the last year. -
