Im reading this interesting book about oxytocin and testosterone. Here is a passage, "By the same token, when you watch your favorite team lose a sporting event-- even on TV--it reduces your testosterone regardless of your gender. If you identify heavily with a team (and here we have an obvious oxytocin influence), it makes you, by extension, a loser anytime they lose."
