Round of 32 GameChangers Division: 3) Alan Jackson vs 6) Kenny Rogers
In the primetime matchup in the Round of 32, Alan Jackson takes on Kenny Rogers in what is promising to be a close battle.
Alan JacksonWhereas Waylon Jennings was called the strongest 3 seed in the history of our music brackets on this shitstorm of a board, I'd argue that Alan Jackson's just as strong of a 3 seed. The only reason he isn't higher is that there are 2 legends seeded ahead of him. 35 number 1's, a comparable number of major awards won, a Hall of Famer in both the Country Music and Songwriter's Hall of Fame. Legend is the bare minimum description for him.

Whether it's being The Gambler, his duets (notably with Dolly Parton), or his crossover to topping not just the Country charts, but also the Billboard Top 100, there's no questioning Kenny's place in music history.

Ruby, don't take your love to town is probably the best country song ever.

Need pics of Ruby. Lucille is damned fine.
This is a test of catalog vs top songs ... as will the other prime time bracket game that will get released tonight when I have time
If I’m personally eating my favorite artists in the Top 32, Kenny is probably Top 10
