I fucking hate this obsession with the playoff. We are never ever going to win a Natty with a Jake at QB. Going back to Georgia just to get slaughtered by Bama is pointless.

How about this team just establish themselves as the best in their own conference first (something they have only won 1 time in the last decade and a half).

On top of that it isn't even true. It's fucking week 1.

    What a fucking idiot. Who does Clemson play in the ACC that's impressive? That's a fucking basketball league. Who does Oklahoma play in the Big 12? That conference is still worse than the Pac-12. Texas just shit themselves again against Maryland for fuck sake.

    The entire nation could not wait to shit on the Pac-12 after the 1-8 bowl record last season because the ACC and Big12 are not better leagues but they want to think they are. The Big 12 is a one team conference with Oklahoma right now. Oklahoma State isn't who they were with Mason Rudolph. The ACC is a two team conference now that Louisville sucks again (Clemson/Miami).

    The Pac-12 will have at least four top-25 teams this season in UW, USC, Stanford, and Utah. UW and Stanford in particular look very strong. Stanford always starts the season a bit slow but once they get rolling they'll be really good. UW will get better as well.

    If UW wins out they're easily in the playoffs. (Not saying that's what I want to happen because we don't want Bama with Browning but that's what will happen).

    If not and they lose again then yes, the Rose Bowl is their best post season option.

    UW wins out and makes the playoffs if Furd or SC beats Notre Dame rather easily. Needs to happen

    It hasnt been the best conference, but it hasnt been shit either. USC won the Rose Bowl and popped off only 2 seasons ago. And before that Furd sent Iowa to an alternate dimension.

    It's just that UW hasnt done shit besides beating Colorado

    Iowa and Penn State weren't the best teams in the B1G in either of those seasons. Michigan State and Ohio State went to the CFP instead of the Rose Bowl.

    Iowa and Penn State weren't the best teams in the B1G in either of those seasons. Michigan State and Ohio State went to the CFP instead of the Rose Bowl.

    Michigan State would have gotten ass blasted just as badly by Furd. Didnt they beat Iowa by 3 in OT?

    Ohio State would have likely lost to Darnold as well.

    UW sucks, but not shutout by Clemson sucks. The AP and coaches poll agrees...both UW and SC ranked higher than tOSU.
