I think he was offered the te position but declined but I could be wrong.

I have zero idea if he is a good coach or recruiter though. He has like 3 different titles right now at cal so he is probably one of their better paid offensive assistants after Baldwin but I am not sure he is that coveted by other schools.

Pickett was a specimen compared to Tui and wasn't half as effective, especially running the option. Tui was a made-up 4.6 guy ... I think he was closer to 4.8 or worse, but the kid could run that offense. Even on a bum leg, he ran Furd into the ground.

Shit like that can't be taught. Has nothing to do with teaching. You have it or you don't.
