I will say, before the scrimmage the other day, I would have said Gaines is the one guy that UW flat out can afford to have go down with an injury.
After seeing some of the other D-Line depth, I'm not so sure they couldn't survive a few games if he were to miss. There's some men out there.
Now the one guy they can't afford to miss is a lefty walk on kicker. Soderberg is not good. Not good at all. (though I never boo the kids.) -
