Follow up and prove it. Call Saban for comment, call the parents again, call the parents that were allegedly solicited by Kaho's dad. Ask Kaho why he decided to go to alabama after citing needing to be home with family as the reason to request a release from UW.

He gets as much of the blame as his family. You don't think Pete and the staff knew of the "problems" and offered all the resources they could to make him comfortable and stay? If he actually wanted to be here he would have said fuck you to his shitty "family situation" and not fuck you to WASHINGTON.
No one should feel sorry for him. it took him ONE FUCKING DAY from the time his release was granted to join a new team when football was "the last thing on his mind" and needed to be with his family... not to mention the new place is THREE FUCKING TIMES AS FAR AWAY!!

Read between the lines: He's going to Bama to win a NC, because he doesn't believe he's capable of leading UW to a NC, despite being ranked in the top 5 with a top 55 QB. If the kid lacks that much faith in his own ability to contribute and make the team better, then WDWHA. It's like A-Rod joining the Yankees and getting upstaged by Jeter for the rest of his career.
