So an Alabama fan came up with a brilliant idea to utilize the new redshirt rule to redshirt all their QB's (ignore the fact that they would have no QB for postseason)
Bring back the 'If Alabama is Doing it Wrong' Bored!

If UW uses this strategy next year we can save the GOAT Jake Browning for 2019, and win a Natty with Joe Ngata
It looks something like this:

Auburn - Browning
N. Dakota - Sirmon
Utah - Yankoff
ASU - Haener
BYU - Sirmon
UCLA - Yankoff
Oregon - Browning
Colorado - Sirmon
Cal - Yankoff
Stanford - Browning
OSU - Sirmon
WSU - Yankoff

P12 Champ - Haener
Holiday Bowl - Browning

Since Haener has burned his redshirt he can be utilized in any game we need, filling in for the Freshmen if they start slow/struggle.
There's really no downside to this, all the young guys get reps and we get another year of the best QB in UW history.

    IF hypothetically Browning redshirted this year AND returned next year, he’d lose the job to Skinny rather easily

    2017 pretty much closed the book on Jake. If he doesn't have supremely talented WRs who are streaking wide open, he folds. We had some adversity last year and needed him to step up. He failed in every way you could fail.
