Could be 2, 5 or 6 as well. Things change all the time, recruiting is a roller coaster ride better buckle up.DugtheDoog said:
Exactly. Like Ektard said the other day... I'm still predicting UW will sign 3 OL this class, but I wouldn't be surprised if they sign 4.Meek said:RDR said:dhdawg said:I no longer have a scout subscription but there are two threads in this in Irish Illustrated.
I would appreciate anyone sharing some of the gems.
Notre Dame had A LOT of optimism based on recent conversations with McMillan. Very curious what changed. Will find out. That’s a big loss. -Tom Loy
Things change all the time Tom.

Long way to go in this one.dhdawg said:“I’m canceling all trips now”, he added, “I’ll probably be coming up when they play Cal (for an official visit to Washington).”
McMillan’s family is also very excited, “My mom got teary-eyed”, he said, and he added that his little sister is already hooked and is a Husky fan.

"He has it all; length, speed, hips, hands…don’t kid yourself." -

I for one can't handle the ups and downs of assistant coach search speculation. I'll never forget the time I sauntered into the official Scott Huff hire announcement thread and @Dennis_DeYoung called me a "FAGGOT" for suggesting that perhaps his being white and liking Metallica wasn't enough evidence to suggest that he would fail in recruiting.CuntWaffle said:
Recommending coaching hires is fine, they have knowledge and do their research so I trust them on that end. Hating a coach just because he wasn't on the list is ridiculous though, especially without even 1 full recruiting cycle.insinceredawg said:
That's right. They wanted us to hire Klayton Adams from CU instead. He appears to have gone the Chris Strausser route and is currently an assistant OL coach in the NFL.dawgs206 said:
The same was said about the Huff hire. Two of our best recruiters on staff right away. Not even Malloe could recruit on this level out of the gates.insinceredawg said:Remember when BDTW told us Junior sucked and we should have hired Skyler Fulton instead?
love the TSIO guys but they should stick to TBSing instead of recommending coaching hires. -
There's a world where liking Metallica is a negative? If there is, I don't want to be a part of it.YellowSnow said:

Biggins knew he was committing on the trip and had his write up ready last week lolRecruiting: McMillan is currently visiting Washington and decided to end the recruiting process and committed to the Huskies moments ago. He had just visited USC and the Trojans were generating a lot of buzz as was Notre Dame. Oklahoma was also involved but Washington is the school we had McMillan crystal balled to for the last few months and they were able to seal the deal with one of the nation’s truly elite receiver prospects. One thing that really helped the Huskies here was McMillan having the opportunity to play with future UW quarterback Sam Huard (FSP) on the 7v7 circuit. McMillan has commented several times that he really likes the QB room at Washington and he also developed a great relationship with WR coach Junior Adams and head coach Chris Petersen. His comfort level was always really strong with the school, on and off the field and he has a chance to be an immediate difference maker for Washington.

The first thing the staff should do every year is compile a list of UW recruiting targets and immediately strike every player off of our list. It would save us time, money, disappointment. -

LOL at changing him to a 5*
-
Well 247 has him at 31, which is usually right at the end of their 5*s. How dare you accuse hardcore husky of bumping up our commits, we are unbiased and FAIR.dhdawg said:LOL at changing him to a 5*

Last year's testing numbers (He was hurt this year)

I hate when the board parrots DDY, but he gives his opinion on everything. Some of them are going to be wrong. What about all the times he’s right?

And with Jalen's commitment

Kid can block too
-
A couple of things really stand out when watching Jalen's huddle
1) While his route running will only continue to improve in time, you can see that he's running very straight lines when he makes his cuts ... so very important
2) I love when I see WRs put blocking into their film and to do it more than just as a casual "see, here's the one time that I blocked" clip ... WR blocking is so critical to busting big runs and a great insight into whether that WR is just into their own stats or about the team ... the fact that blocking was Jalen's 2nd highlight made me very happy -
And 89.65 is good for 11th best in the countryNeighbor2972 said:And with Jalen's commitment
