Should also be obvious but all of Iron Maiden covers were bad ass.

All of the Beatles album covers from Rubber Soul to Abbey Road are classics. Was in London about a year ago and tried to do the Abbey Road cross walk pic but it's a mad house of tourists so kind of a pain in the ass to get right. Shout our to @Swaye with the Gif here. If you don’t know the story, the band had to get permission from each of the (living) people in order to use their likeness. Actress Mae West (known in her day as quite the sex symbol) initially said no, telling the band, “why would I be in a lonely hearts club?” She eventually changed her mind after much persistence on John and Paul’s part.

And we cannot forget one of the greatest album covers featuring a couch...

Came here to say Powerslave. Since Swaye is a very smart man, I'll give four others:

Each one of them closely captures what the album is all about. Slide It In is sexual and classy, while keeping it dirty. Holy Land, with the latin and the old map stuff feels like an ancient relic about the brave new world, a mix of metal and symphonic shit. The Mamonas is infantile but dirty, it was the album I played as a kid that made my two dads mad. Aquemini has just a space ghetto vibe and feels like Spike Lee made Star Wars or something like that.
