Since we are bashing on Gaskin...

You all are wrong His main flaw is not having enough long runs.

But he does not consistently get long runs like other big name backs. Saquon, Barkley ronald Jones, Stanford back 1, etc. All have 40+ yard runs nearly every week. While gaskin hardly ever gets a run longer then 20 yards and only has 9 runs over 40 yards

    2015
    78 vs sac state.
    72 vs oregon
    53 vs asu
    86 vs southern miss
    2016
    68 vs Oregon
    45 vs asu
    2017
    57 vs colorado
    43 vs wsu
    69 vs Penn state

Uh, Gaskin ran for more yards over 3 years than Barkley. But what do stats matter anyway.
He’s a small slow RB. GTFO

Gaskin has much better patience and vision out of nothing than Barkley...frankly Saquan struggled there. It's why he had so many games under 100 yds rushing vs descent teams (not us of course).

OL needs more consistency. Seems someone misses an assignment every other play.

Gaskin would be on a 53 man roster in the NFL this year if he wanted. That makes him college elite.

No it doesn't. RB's who get drafted in the first and second round were college elite.

By that definition SC hasn't had an elite RB since Reggie Bush yet you say they have better backfields every year than Gaskin/Ahmed?

You're talking out of your ass. Again.

    Fuck off.
I said USC had a better back field than Gaskin and Ahmed last year and they no doubt have a more talented RB corps right now than we do. And you're right. They haven't had an elite back since Reggie. Ronald Jones and Stephen Carr will both go in the top two rounds though, bitch.

"It's a really good backfield and might be the best we've ever had but teams like Bama, Georgia, Ohio State, and USC have better backfields than that every year."

Sankey was 1st overall RB taken in early 2nd Rd. By your definition he was elite.

Gaskin has been better than Sankey by pretty much every metric at UW.

Sankey was elite and better than Gaskin. He ran for 1800+ yards running behind a shit Sark O-line.

Where do you think Salvon will be drafted? I think he's better than Gaskin and will go top two after his Jr. Year.

I agree. Salvon is elite. Now you're catching on.

Basically you're entire argument boils down to an obsession with NFL measurables over production.

That's why you think Chris Warren is still better than Gaskin.

    I get it now.

No, if you remember I said before Chris Warren gained a bunch of weight and tried playing RB at 250 pounds he was better than Gaskin. Today Gaskin is better than him because he got too big. But yes, USC having a RB corps with overall better NFL talent than we have makes their RB corps better than ours. It's so simple yet you dumb ass doogs have a difficult time understanding.

Just because you have the measurables doesn't mean you're good at football. Gaskin is an elite runner at the college level. Defenses are scared of him.

Dewayne Washington had the NFL measurables and has stuck with the Lions as a result. Gaskin as a true frosh ran him out of town. People forget that.

    Correction

Defenses are scared that they'll give the ball to someone besides Jake Browning
