I’m hearing The McConnell-Schumer-Ryan two year spending plan is having trouble assembling enough votes. Lots of opposition in the house (both parties) and from Sen. Paul. To avoid a shutdown tonight, the thought is to approve a 2 day CR, to provide time to pass a 21 day CR, to provide time to pass a 2-year budget and debt limit increase late in March. Tonight marks the end of this fiscal year’s fourth CR.
