True. I kinda meant like we haven’t done it often or combined them. Emtman was the number 1 DT on the West Coast we’ve done it before but not often and not together.
It’d be like if we got Tuli AND Togiai last year. I would’ve liked that but it felt like we didn’t get on Tuli until after we knew Togiai was going to Ohio State. -

You’re right I suck. Was there even recruiting rankings back then or did we just find a modern day Viking and say “he’ll figure it out”. If ektard, Biggins and all them suck this bad WITH modern technology. Then I could only imagine the 1980’s version of 247/scout/rivals. -

Amazing times. My mind is still stuck in the days where we're anxiously waiting on word from Wilson Afoa or Eric Lobos so there's at least on DT in the class.
Saama Pa'ama is currently the third best DT in this class. If we get Wright he will be the fourth best.
He would have been the premier DT rather easily in most UW recruiting classes of my lifetim.
This is the golden era of UW DT recruiting.

But everytime some doog wants to argue for James Atoe or some other lowly rated recruit they yell "Emtman was a two star!". Which isn't really true since star ratings didn't exist, but as usual facts don't get in the way of a good doogism. Us negas have coopted the phrase (complete with improved spelling ala Stan Empterman) and now use it ironically and shit. -
