Are you saying that the democrats didn't block the vote or just running cover for the democrats wanting kids to die?

The GOP used funding from the public health fund rather than its own funding, as it had in the past. Are you really that dumb or you just enjoy watching me respond?

What this amounts to is the GOP want to increase defense spending and decrease health spending.

    1. Democrats want to throw a wet blanket on Trumps victory lap regarding tax bill.

    2. Democrats hate America.

Hmmmn, that's weird I thought that if you had a majority you could pass things regardless of how the other party votes. I coulda sworn that's what happened on tax reform.

Are the Dems filibustering this? Is one of those f'd up things like California's budget where you need a supermajority?

Or are you just blaming the other party for the GOP's inability to control their own votes?

House votes 242-174 to continue CHIP funding
    By Virgil Dickson | November 3, 2017
The House voted 242-174 to reauthorize federal funding to maintain low-cost health insurance to 8.9 million children and 370,000 pregnant women.

The vote was along party lines and reflected concerns over how Republicans in the House want to pay for continuing the Children's Health Insurance Program. There were three Republicans who voted against the bill, while only 15 Democrats supported it.

The Healthy Kids Act extends CHIP's federal funding for five years and funding for federally qualified health centers for two years. Federal funding for those facilities lapsed on Sept. 30, the same day CHIP lost its funding.

Prior to Friday's vote, House Democrats slammed Republican proposals to pay for the bill by charging higher Medicare premiums to seniors earning more than $500,000, shortening the grace period for people who don't pay their Affordable Care Act marketplace premiums from 90 days to 30 days, and also redirecting money from the ACA's prevention and public health fund to community health centers.

Sounds like Hondo doesn't value peace and prosperity.
Are you saying that military spending equates to peace and prosperity?
