Yeah I sound poor but I would be comfortable with $6,500 a month, let alone a week. Save me the job security bullshit and the rags to riches sob story.
Hey Jaydon, why don’t you and homeboy splurge on a room at the Best Western.
Psalm came close but I’ve never hated a Husky quite like Jaydon Mickens. FTG.

A paltry $6500 a week... How many diamond fucking earrings and jesus pieces are you buying if you can't afford a hotel room with $6500 a week?
-
This. I think I made about 6,500 per quarter at Orkin. Fuck you Mickens.NorwegianHusky said:A paltry $6500 a week... How many diamond fucking earrings and jesus pieces are you buying if you can't afford a hotel room with $6500 a week?

Was that with or w/o the dead bug bonus?

The only bonus I got at Orkin was that when I would do inside sprays I could sometimes find the nude pic stash of the wife. Man, those were the days.doogie said:Was that with or w/o the dead bug bonus?

hey - you know how tough it is to sleep in a new Mercedes? the warranty isn't in effect when used as overnight accommodations

jesus you guys are a tough crowd.
Kid was fucking sleeping in his car because he had it so bad for a while. Can't you just appreciate that he persevered and got over the hump?
Here's Jaydon in the park at night in his car.

I guess the question is how steady was that $6500 check coming in. Was he getting that during the off-season as well?
That said, if he’s on the practice squad for a month, that’s $26k. -
Tough to live on 26K per month in THIS economy.CFetters_Nacho_Lover said:I guess the question is how steady was that $6500 check coming in. Was he getting that during the off-season as well?

He could get an Extended Stay room for like $75 a night, or even cheaper if he split it with his buddy. One month of rent is like a single day of practice.

Not to mention sleep is pretty important for a professional athlete. Unless he had a hyperbaric chamber in the boot this is as fucking stupid from an athletic perspective as it is from a financial perspective.UWhuskytskeet said:He could get an Extended Stay room for like $75 a night, or even cheaper if he split it with his buddy.
