What is the point of watching the Blazers when they have a less than zero chance at winning the title? This entire thread is pointless.

Using this logic, what’s the point of watching Oregon football?
I don’t disagree, but then again I’m not the one saying it’s worthless to watch when your team has no shot at the title.
In the NBA there is one team (GS) that is the 99.9% favorite to win the title, and one or two other teams (Hou, Cle?) who could win the title if GS had a major injury to Durant.

There is no drama whatsoever in the NBA this season as is the case basically every year. You either have a super team or you go full tank mode for the future. College football is an entirely different thing.

The pac12 as a conference has a <1% chance of winning the title in football. We root for pac12 schools. What’s the point of watching then (by your logic)?

NBA: Injuries happen, teams get complacent. It seems like 99% but GS lost in the finals 2 years ago, and was getting shredded by San Antonio last year until Kawahi got hurt. The other teams have egos too, they aren't going to lay down. Don't be a bunch of pussies like Tequilla beating their pud alone every night as they gleefully watch their bandwagon beat up on Phoenix.

College Football: Every single team in the sport is a quarterback *snap* away from being out of it. 3-4 years ago everyone would be telling Georgia/Clemson fan they will never win anything. Just because one program has set a standard of excellence does not mean it's 99% they are going to win every year. They lost to a mediocre team in their mediocre conference last year playing 1 less conference game and no one in the ooc.

Parity comes and goes in all sports more than you'd think. The NHL which supposedly has the most parity has watched Pittsburgh steamroll everyone the past couple of years.

Oh yeah, also, @Clips tonight on a second of a back to back.

This is probably a letdown game and they lose to the Rockets on Tuesday as well, but who knows.

Houston can beat a healthy Golden State with home court and a hot shooting series.

NBA is scripted. Blazers don't win big per the script.
