There has to be a story on how he got his name
Maybe this is blasphemy, but I prefer the Gus Johnson call on this one.

There has to be a story on how he got his name There has to be a story how you got YOUR name Johnny Quest was my favorite cartoon. i had no idea Race was a leather dude icon until after. I felt in order to honor diversity it would be wrong to change it
Maybe this is blasphemy, but I prefer the Gus Johnson call on this one. Agree, COLD BLOODED is the signature call. Rondeau's is typically great Rondeau, but Gus is the GOAT at calling big moments and buzzer beaters.

He's an amazing big moment basketball announcer. He's a terrible everyday announcer.
I wonder how Nate feels about this. Hope he isn't upset. He was arguably more instrumental than anyone in the rise of UW bball in 2003-2005
I wonder how Nate feels about this. Hope he isn't upset. He was arguably more instrumental than anyone in the rise of UW bball in 2003-2005 This is a really good point. There's a real argument that Nate was more important than IT. IT didn't completely separate himself from Nate until his NBA career.
