It's good that Butch is in a fully private school, rather than a private football program within a public school. They might develop into a competitor to Murphy in the north end.

He is actually a good coach. The most ridiculous thing about what went on at Bellevue is that they would have been a dominant program without the obvious cheating. Not 11 titles in 12 years dominant, but more like 6 in 12. But that wasn't good enough, somehow.

As a Bellevue alum, I was able to follow the season this year without feeling dirty about it. Losing in the semis that way felt better than winning it by cheating.

I dunno about that. Bellevue still dominates the GEJFA at all levels. So the pipeline is stocked with try-hard guys who have been running the Wing-T since they could tie their shoes.

On the other hand, the BHS HC is a Coug mouth-breather.

Either way, it will be interesting.
