You can see a lot of Romar sloppiness in the team still that will take time to get out of them ... but they play significantly harder than they did at any point last year and very clear that they have an idea of what they are trying to accomplish ...

They will get some more players over time and that will help, but a few takeaways:

1) Dickerson looks really good ... moves well, has developed aspects of his game, and definitely gives a shit

2) Really excited about Nowell's future ... you can tell he's got a very mature game to him ... but more importantly I really enjoy how he carries himself ... I see a little bit of Kobe type of confidence to him in how he moves

3) In perhaps the biggest shock I've ever seen, Timmins isn't a complete stiff any longer ... in fact, he's actually useful

The basketball team still sucks like we all knew they would. They give a shit tho.

Time will tell if Hopkins is good. I said before any coach that could get these guys to give effort would be an upgrade over Romar. The team looks to be in good shape and are being coached to give max effort.
