Azeem should've went pro last year

No this is proof we don't play DE's

    Azeem is full time DE.
    Azeem never sees the field.

Serious question to anyone who might actually know. WTF happened? Victor was a complete stud at middle linebacker last year. We were all looking forward to him destroying people again this year. Did the injury cause him to lose a step? "Violation of team rules" a lingering problem? Weight issue? WTF?

i dont think he was given an opportunity to get back into playing rhythm. When he played he did not look bad.

He's on my short list, that's for sure. Great attitude and plays with fury. Love the guy. I hope he gets a chance at more playing time.

Can't wait to see Azeem chuggin' tall boys in between snaps

That made me laugh and imagine John Daly.

Maybe he isn't trying hard enough. He will be fine in the future. He will play in the NFL if he wants to.

Maybe he wasn't as good last year as you thought he was?

BBK outplaying Victor out of a starting spot is the "WTF" of the year for me
I'm not surprised. Our Boise State couched don't know what to do with a guy like Azeem.

BBK is porn for them the d is designed for scrappy fellows like him

Your first comment is certainly possible. That can happen. It's not uncommon for some to get comfortable and take things for granted.

Your last comment though? Kid was on point last year, he kicked ass. First team all Pac12, while missing a good chunk of the season.

Doesn’t Azeem have a charity or something?

Wonder if he went the Anthony Kelley route.

For a staff which is so good at developing players (except QB) it is really a weird result this year, unless Azeem is being held back by injuries.

It's hard weird. The play does tend to stop when BBK gets to the ball carrier. He never has the "oh fuck yeah brb" plays that Azeem had but I guess it works. I also noticed he and Key-Shawn aren't lining up shoulder to shoulder like Key-Shawn and Azeem did last year. Our linebackers positioning fluctuates pre-snap and it makes me wonder if due to our talent on the line BBK is given a different responsibility whereas Azeem was asked to fuck shit up inside.
