Chip Kelly gave a scholarship to Oregon's freshman kicker Wogan who earned the scholarship by accurately kicking very long field goals. We all know Alejandro's record of fucking up big games with his shitty kicking. There was another example today where he once again duffed a critical kick. He did the same thing against Tennessee when they were up early and there was some palpable tension in the stadium air. It's true that the Oregon offense was largely responsible for putting him in those kind of situations, as well as the great play of USC, Stanford and other opponents that have put Oregon in a corner. Now even the die hard 'don't boo the kids' crowd can't deny that as a kicker, Maldonado just plain fucking sucks. And whoever keeps insisting on using him sucks. It's so blatantly obvious, so why does Oregon continue to stupidly rely on him in clutch situations where he has proven over and over again that he is not the guy for the job ? Whoever comes up with the best explanation will be drowned in the Willamette River.
