    Tedford saved this offense last year.
    If I was Petersen I'd put in a call to his
    buddy Helfrich. Smith and Lubick
    need an outside set of eyes. If Smith gets
    hired away I'd give Slingblade a serious look.

    It'll never happen of course. But let's think about it... Chip could command $1.5 million as an OC, plus he's got all his NFL money so he's set for life. As an OC, Chip could do what he does best (call plays and design a game plan), and he wouldn't have to deal with reporters much and could just be a ball coach. The sky would be the limit for UW football.

    Okay... back to reality

    Slingblade sucked as an OC too. Chip literally used him as the film cutup guy because he didn't have time to do it.

    If you look at what he did as the actual guy he was shit there too. He was at the right place at the right time, nothing more.
