We could legitimately have Tuitele, Bandes, Smalls, JTT, Danny Hammer, Laiatu Latu, Pater Latu, Jordan Botelho (Hi Mosster!!!) and JTT all on the same defense.
When we started the pod and we were like 'uh, we can recruit a lot better than what we are' - this is what we were referring to.
It's actually possible.
We are going to be pretty fucking good in 2019 (I expect another 10 win season), but 2020 is going to start to get insane.
I am legit saying 2022 is going to be special. I assume Lake will be gone by then, but the reality is we are not going to lose Kwat.
This is a strange feeling.

This doesn’t make any sense. If memory serves me right, jimmy lake was one of the first to see emeka egbuka before his offer list exploded and offered him.GrundleStiltzkin said:Don't begrudge Jayson sticking up for his brother, at all. However, no visits, dead period, etc., seems like that should work in favor of the school 10 miles away.
Plus jimmy was on staff as the d coordinator for years. Let’s not pretend he didn’t have a prior relationship with JTT. Let’s just call it what it was. Two big misses.

But 11-6 is a playoff season in the NFL and you take that all day.RaceBannon said:

The argument that Ohio State and Alabama create more top draft picks is very flawed. Each team gets a crazy number of 5 star and 4 star recruits a year (let's say 20) but only 2-4 players get drafted high. So that means the remaining 18 to 16 players are undeveloped/overrated for whatever reason based on their prior ratings. That's not that great of a success rate. Development success is relative to the type of recruits you have to work with initially. If you only have 3 star recruits on your team, but you manage to produce 3 round 1/2 draft picks, that's a way better statistic.

Ohio State 2021 draft Justin fields (1st round, transfer offense), pete werner ILB 60 overall, josh myers 62 overall center, that's it for first 2 rounds based on top 5 recruiting classes year after year and no DL in 2021 draft. Washington had 2 DL players on top 41 2021 draft based on top 25 recruiting classes in past years. Trouble is off here. It can't be the development aspect of the programs that sets them apart

I promise you Alabama, Ohio State and Clemson are just as good at developing talent as UW.
Make fun of USC and Texas if you want, but trying to argue that Ohio State is bad at developing talent won't get you anywhere. -
