Deputies said, Andrea allegedly started a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old teenage boy student in last year, their physical relationship was continued “on a regular basis.” Deputies also added, the teacher also provided the boy with alcohol and marijuana, according to the court document.

According to the court document, the relationship between Andrea and the teenage student was first reported to law enforcement last week after the teacher’s husband caught his wife and the teenager in the bed, the teenage boy’s father was received an anonymous email asking him if he knew that his teenage son is sexually involved with Andrea. A series of photos of Andrea and the boy in bed together were attached to the email.

Andrea’s husband caught his wife and the teenage student in bed on December 5, according to the court document.

The authorities arrested the teacher on December 15 on suspicion of third-degree rape, and unlawful delivery of marijuana to a minor under the age of 18-year-old, third-degree sodomy and other charges.

The authorities have cleared that Andrea no longer associated with Logos Christian Academy in Springfield, but the website of school hasn’t updated the list and still has Andrea listed as an instructor in the school in the English Department.

According to Andrea’s biography posted on the website, the teacher teaches language and literature, speech communication and writing. She earned a degree in English in 2014 from the Northwest Christian University.

Andrea’s biography reads, “Andrea has always felt called to work with youth and is very excited that God opened the door for her to be part of the Logos team. She lives with her husband, dog and cat just south of Eugene.”
