Lindy smiled and laughed inside for four years straight finding it unbelievable and amazing that he was a scholarshipped athlete. He gave numerous interviews looking like an uninvited guest, expecting someone at any moment to walk up grab him by the shoulder and say “Alright pal. You’re out of here.” But it never happened. That was the joke that kept Lindy smiling throughout.
