I apologize to everyone. I'm not very tech-savvy. I know what to do now. Just click the link, and don't bitch.elord821 said: -
Late last night I saw Huffman tweeted that UCLA's Justin Frye was in to visit Smalls (because fucking duh). Scott Elder replied to Huffman that Frye also stopped by Stadium to talk to Bailey. I was going to post the tweet this morning but I can't find it or it's been deleted. And I didn't screenshot it because I'm a fool!
Either way, this kid is starting to get noticed like everyone here predicted he would. Offer from Zona? Check. UCLA taking a look? Check.
My assumption is UW has him on the radar but are doing the needful. As has been beaten to death, the staff takes a long time evaluating the hometown kids and I'd assume they are taking a little extra time with him to be on the safe side. However, the more interest he gets from PAC-12 programs the faster they're going to have to up their own process.
Real talk: I doubt Pete is too worried about his autism. It's clearly high functioning, and personally I think it's a sneaky advantage. The kid has great physical skills. But you throw in a disability that makes the kid take everything literal? Talk about the perfect student. This kid will take to coaching like
@Swaye takes to drugs and @dnc 's butthole, or @Dennis_DeYoung takes to alcohol and manic episodes, or @CokeGreaterThanPepsi takes to teen boi hips, or literally anything that goes perfect together. This kid is going to be a fucking monster.
He loves UW, his family will want him close because parental protection instincts are strong, and he's talented. Huff will go hard after Rhyan, Tauanu'u, Vimahi, and Buelow because he has to. They're studs that everyone wants and you have to try, especially with the Poly's.
Get 1 of them (or 2 if you hit a home run), and then extend an offer to Bailey to which he would instantly accept and round out the class. Develop him into a god damn beast and in 3 years we're all masturbating furiously.
Book closed. -
PS, I really really really really really wanted to say "or DDY takes to trees", but I'm still fucking new here and I don't know the actual story besides random mentions of a Maserati in threads and the sweet GIF of dunking over the wheelchair.
So if anyone wants to retell the story for me, I have some hot cocoa and a blanket and am ready for a good tale. -

I think he's got a great chance to pick up at least a few more Pac 12 offers. Looking at his position on 247 sports, the rankings are very biased towards kids that are east of Colorado. I'm guessing that kids that live east of there with a Pac 12 offer and any other P5 offers have about a 1 in 10 chance of choosing the Pac 12 over the other closer school.
I'm guessing that across the Pac 12, the schools are looking to sign about 40-42 OLs total. Of those 42 I bet no more than 5 will come from east of Colorado. That means that the numbers are in favor of the kids in the west. Once the top 10 West OLs (Rhyan, Tauanuu, Vimahi, Buelow, Clemens, etc.) in the commit, there will be a scramble to fill the remaining spots. That's when you'll see offers fly. If any of the top 10 west guys decide to go east of Colorado, then the Pac 12 schools will have to dig much deeper.
Either way, I predict we'll see action on Elder at or around UW's camp. Maybe USC will go on him first... I've heard he's on Nansen and Helton's radar already.
