If Mora can't beat Oregon and Furd with the recruits he gets at Ucla...

Or do we need to let it play out when he gets all his own guys?

Where were you demanding that Sark be fired in 2010?

New coaches get three years, don't they?

Huh? This is about whether or not Mora is the right guy to replace Sark. I want a coach that can beat Furd and Oregon, why take a chance on another guy that needs 3 years?

Don James didn't always win championships.
He had some lean years. But you always felt
he was getting the most out of what he had
and if he had a bad year he was going to work
his ASS off to fix it. Mora gives me the same
feeling. With Sark, I feel like when he fucks up
his solution is to just turn the music up louder
at practice. Guess I'm kind of old school Husky
but just want to get back to days that even if you
lost, at least you hurt a few of theirs, legally of
    course. Come home Jim.

I don't question that Mora would be a step up.

But given that he can't beat Furd or Oregon, and got plunge red by Cal and Baylor, I have to think we should be aiming even higher.

    In a nutshell, this.

Look, we aren't going be Alabama here, and win 3 NC's in 4 years. Whatever Coach we get is going to have rough times. DJ did FFS. But, wouldn't it be refreshing to think that if we were struggling through a 7-6 year, that would be the low point, and the head man (Mora) would get the ship turned back into the wind, because he had discipline, a plan, and total command of the ship. With Sark, I always feel like the shoals are a gnats ass hair away....

It is only an assumption Mora could not do at WA what he hasn't done yet at UCLA. I believe Mora would get the team to run through a wall, like it did for James. Mora at WA brings intangibles that few other coaches could bring. And if properly supported by UW, Mora would be a lifer.

Nice retort. So how many years do you wNt to give Mora? 3 at Ucla, then 3 at Uw to prove himself?

Three years to win a conference championship? Yeah, that's about right.

If Mora doesn't win the Pac-12 next year at UCLA, WDWHA.
