Born, Russ and PG

I didn't realize Russell Westbrook was also a free agent next season. So Lebron, Russ and PG will all be available. All three have connections to LA and two of them have beef with the Warriors.
They'd obviously have to take a lot less and Lebron didn't seem interested in doing that in Cleveland. Maybe that had more to do with the owner though. Or maybe that's changed with how good the Warriors are.
With the right roll players that team is terrifying.

Especially since it would have Ball and Ingram since they won't cost much on rookie deals. Add some 3 and D shooters off the bench and that's a squad for real.
I bet they get two of those three, can't see them getting all three. I think Westbrook stays in OKC. Scary to think of about though. -
You're probably right. I'm just saying Lebron, Wade and Bosh all came up as free agents at the same time and it wasn't a coincidence. If Lebron, PG and Russ isnt a coincidence I won't be surprised.

Russ and LeBron on the same team would be unstoppable. Surround those two with shooters and it's all over.

Too many guys needing the ball in their hands
-
Right. I don't see any scenario where Lonzo and Russ could operate successfully in the same backcourt, both are the type of player that need the ball in their hands running the offense to maximize their skillset. And the Lakers won't pass up on Lonzo tonight just based off of a free agency gamble.Tequilla said:Too many guys needing the ball in their hands
A lineup of Ball-George-Ingram-Bron-Randle could be lethal though, and that's definitely possible. Would have enough cap room to have a legit bench too. -
Lonzo and PG don't need the ball in their hands. This argument is stupid. Stick to football.
-
PG doesn't. But Lonzo's talents are kinda wasted if he isn't running the offense and creating shots for others with his passing. He's a good shooter and will still move the ball some... but then you turn around and he's a defensive liability at the other end of the floor due to his lack of athleticism. Jackson, Fox, or Tatum would all fit better with a Russ/PG/Bron trio.allpurpleallgold said:Lonzo and PG don't need the ball in their hands. This argument is stupid. Stick to football.

Ball is gonna suck, so he won't be getting the ball anyways.

If he makes it through his rookie year he will be fineThomasFremont said:Ball is gonna suck, so he won't be getting the ball anyways.

Makes it through? He's not going to war.Tequilla said:

Yup.Tequilla said:Too many guys needing the ball in their hands
Like the Sixers with McGinnis, Erving, Collins, Free, Dawkins. -
Disagree. Russ and LeBron would put too much pressure on a defense, especially at the rim.Tequilla said:Too many guys needing the ball in their hands
Those two and Lonzo (at least the college version) on the break? And George? Forget about it.
Kevin Love gets 18+ a game for Cleveland. Bosh got around that in Miami as well. George could do the same. It's a sacrifice, but so what?
George would definitely be the third option, but he would be a great one.
